well, i got an HD race camera, with locking suction mounts and stuff, so far. essentially my GF, and brothers and sister all went in together for it.

that. it REALLY takes good video that stays clean, even when i shake the crap out of it. plus it is one of the few that have a nice big screen so you can watch the vids, and set it up right when you mount it (such a simple thing but many don't have that.)

now i see why she was so bummed out when my eclipse got hit... good news is the parts are rolling in, and i should be able to use the camera next weekend.

Kazera
they are actually made by BBS. essentially the slightly heavier (but still pretty darn light, i trimmed 7 pounds per wheel) and cast single piece stuff. BBS puts thier name on the best of the best, and has Kazera as their lower end (but still better than the crap you buy at sears, and pepboys) wheels.

she knew i was sad about loosing a wheel (it is out of production) on the eclipse, and got me these sexy wheels. i love the gray on them. black and gunmetal and such is getting old. i was going to put the stockers back on... no need to now!

got one on. i am pushing to get the car put back together so i can race on the 16/17/18 of july. not pretty, but she should run, and with the coilovers (hence why she is so low now) she should run GOOD. i will have all 4 on, and the new bumper before the race.. but no paint.

I think those Kazeras look good, i've seen some Mazda6s pull them off nicely. What size?

the wheels are 17x7.5

and the coilovers are D2 RS series.
i can adjust the height, the preload on the springs, the preload on the antisway, the dampening (32 settings), and the camber. i think i am DIALED in now... but a few days of driving (and fridays "fun run" racing) will really help me get them dialed in to how i like them.

Holy crap, thats alot of adjustabillity, have fun and those rims are SWEET. Looks good.
