Happy Birthdat Barat!!
Have you been keeping up on your joint fiting oilings? Old robots tend to develop squeaks if you don't grease thier joints...

Hope you had a good birthday!

i think you should switch to a synthetic oil. it will help you maintain maximum horsepower longer.

ZOMG! I didn't even get to look at the birthday thread yesterday! I was buisy at the DMV all morning trying to figure out why they didn't send my license extension.... then I had to take my wife to the dentist and wait a couple hours there for her to get some wizdom teeth yanked, then by the time I got home, dropped her off and went to get a cake, the day was pretty much done! For my birthday I was gifted a large sum of money to be put towards the repair and refurbishing of my mighty samurai! Baby needs a new 1.6L

You putting a Sidekick engine in there or something? Don't the Samurai's have a 1.3, and alot of people put Sidekick 1.6's in, right?
I know a guy who put a Ford 2.3 4cly from a Ranger/ T-bird/ alot of other cars, in a Samurai. It's pretty cool, plenty of power!

yeah, the sidekick and geo tracker 1.6 liter engine with the 8V SOHC is almost a direct swap. They use the same intake and exhaust manifolds so I just need the adapter plate kit with engine mounts and its an easy drop in and swap. The nice thing is that I'll be able to run my stock carb and get almost as much power from the 1.6 that I'm getting with the dual twin non smog legal carbs that are on it right now. I'd love to not have to swap out my carbs every two years to smog it. I've been doing it for almost 10 years now and its less fun each time I have to do it.
I might go propane with it. The adapter kit is only a couple hundred bucks, and propane is 1/3 the price of gas and burns clean.
