Hey guys, I want to make a track for my z, I have a 12.5x38 foot area but I can't think of any Good Designs, Anyone got some? The 15 foot thing is really annoying as the track can only have "1 dimension" Like, you can only have straights going one way because 5 feet isn't much.. ( acounting for coming back, so that lane needs room too)

It's even got pits!!! the only I'll change is make the straight (leading to the pits) go more towards the rest of the track, see how it goes straight to the pits? Yeah, I'd make it keep going straight and you have to turn to go to the pits, that's the only thing I'm going to change though

Whe you say rally, it could be like dirt and really short grass and narrow roads and stuff, not just dirt... But dirt and rally tracks would be really hard to get to be indentical though.....

How about we do like 5x5, I only have like 20-25 feet of PVC, I might be able to buy more, but not till like next week... I got all the elbows (well actually tees beacuse they didn't have any elbows, and tees were only $.68 so I just got them instead....) Maybe a new design?
I could make an oval right now so that we can start racing today...
I only have my xmod now so it'd have to be xmods.....

I can't find a hobbico one, so.... I'll just use a stopwatch...

I don't have AlM and saTurn doesn't have MSN and my parents already hate chat rooms. So if you have any practical ideas besides make your own website I'd love to hear it and don't worry there'll be plenty o pics when I get my Z the point of the body being so high is so that the wheels fit

oh man! nice! This has been a long time coming! congradualtions! When you said in the other topic that you mini-z has a good turing radius, i thought you were jsut making fun of me! Congrats on finally getting one!! Wow, this is almost as exciting as me getting one!

With mini-z tracks, you really only need 2 feet of track width.


as for layouts, i'll think of somthing real soon. With a variety of stuff.

well here's the design. it was afun one to do (i love designing tracks, dont lol j/k me). I forgot about staires and stuff, so you can play with it however you like...

yeah the reason i made the entrance to the pits so dirtect is so the pits are on the edge so you can work on your car easilier.

OOH!!!! IDEA!!!! (i know, i have those alot) how about you take away the barreir in some places so you can block off sections so you can fast easy tracks or long tracks.. that would be cool

I also have this loft above the garage (my new house actually is pretty sweet) so if you have any plywood, we can race on ply wood too.
I really wanna do the xmod rally to, just dont have enough for truck tires, maybe i'll make some, or find some, or somethin like that.

what i mean by a rally is find a dirt patch, put the pvc barriers on the track, and vioiliolla, instant rally course!

heres my wonder ful idea, using zzmt tire's as rally tire covers! to make it more offroady, while having an easy conversion to road!

pfft, doesnt look like you get much chassis clearance from those tires and lift kit. You have a LOT of useless body clearance though...
