I think you will be much happier with an Epoch than an Xmod.

YES, please do purchase an epoch. They're great rcs, and one of my favorites. I have an Xmod and an Epoch and I have alot more fun with my epoch than my Xmod. There is almost nothing bad about the epoch. They are fully propo and pretty fast. But if you want to go faster you can always add a 4th cell to the chassis.

Get the Epoch while you still can!

Excellent handling, far suprior to xmods. Also it looks fantastic!

They are pure racing pleasure. Best thing is, when the Xmod and MiniZ fanboys are looking for more space to run their cars in this winter -- we, the Epoch fanboys, will be tooling around our nice roomy tracks.

Buy a couple Epochs -- they should be coming down in price soon. Let us know when ya do. We'll help ya set up a killer track that won't take up your hole basement and won't cost you a lot of cash.

One more thing, Epochs can race on micro rc track, but also you can put them on a mini z track and they will be fine. Epocs can race on a 6 by 8 table or they can race on a 20 by 40 cement garage. They easily handle any space unlik the z. In the winter time, my iwavers are shut down because I no longer have the space for them. With my Epoch, I just go to my basement track.

I just thought of another reason too. We are tight here -- the guys who like this car. So you are gonna get great support from us.

They are one of my favorite RCs also.I think its tied with my OVerland.

If you want to drive and race, an Epoch is excellent. If you want to do mods and hop up stuff, Xmod. But bear in mind that both cars seem to do only one. Very little in the way of upgrades for an Epoch and verylittle in the way of quality racing for an xmod.

I would always put my money on the Epoch for value.

Good choice? It all depends on how you look at it Mrv.... For instance it is going to be winter time now, and the Epochs can be driven insdie. not a mini t, although I'm sure you can do it, you just need to waterproof the electronics.

Yep Jac. The mini T and Epoch are 2 diffrent cars. I love Epochs sooo much . Actually, I was thinking of getting new electronics for my mini T and use the stock to waterproof. Then get the Sand Tires...


Back on Topic, Get an Epoch, they are dying. Get them while you can!

So that we don't lose perspective, I think the Epoch is a great car, but it's not the one true car to rule them all If I were stranded on a desert island, and I had a choice of only one, nuclear-powered, R/C car to keep me company, I would probably choose something large. Probably something 1/10 ot larger. Such a car would have a better chance of negotiating unpaved terrain. The Epoch may be a nice car, but it would have absolutely no use under such circumstances.

We have different forums because, people have different interests and needs. I'm not an Epoch hater. I just think there are other cars out there...

I agree M7. If you have the room and the cash go large. That makes sense. Each car has its place. Specific cars are great for specific needs.

The link MK gave you is for the US distributor who is clearing out their inventory. even if you find epochs on ebay you probably won't beat that website's price. I think that might be why MK gave you that link.
