I was cleaning the garage the other day and I came across two of my XMODS that i purchased a few years back.. Is radio shack still selling them?

It could possibly work. Depending on how new. There were 3 generations of Xmods, the ones you have, the Evos, and the Streets. The Evos' remotes were just the same as yours. The Street Xmods, which were the newest, had remotes that would not allow you to switch crystals, therefor not allowing you to change frequencies.

Thanks that was some really good info, before I try to find a Controller!! my coworkers are really intrested in XMODS after they saw mine. we are all over EBAY trying to find some deals!
