I need the rear plate that connects the back portion (wheels, motor gears etc) to the chassis. Its a small thin piece on the bottom of an epoch.

The "T" plate is part of the complete chassis and frame kit. You can buy it for 10.99 from a small red place, but I can't tell you where. I know you can take it from there.

I was just hoping someone had a spare one they can slip into an envelope. i have to extend the chassis a bit and dont want to cut the original one. -------------------- When ignorance reigns, life is lostBMWCCA # 417749. I'm not a fan myself, but thats the only place I know of that still sells the stuff. Is it for a spec 1 or a spec 2?

look at the T plate on the bottom. If the back two mounting screws are set in round holes then it's a spec 1. If they are set in oval slots, then it's a spec 2. The Spec2 T plate is adjustable and the wheel base can be elongated or shortened about 1/4 inch to allow for longer or shorter vehicles . I can fit the lancer evo and the skyline bodies on my spec2, but the Evo bodies are too short for my spec 1 wheel base.

It still needs to be longer. -------------------- When ignorance reigns, life is lostBMWCCA # 417749. NJ chapter. |

Chewy,
About your email, not sure if you have received my reply. I will be most happy to help with your request, but if it's epoch stuff you are looking for, it will not be possible to find them anymore in Hong Kong. My previous epoch collection was in fact obtained from Japanese auctions via a friend in Japan some years ago. I doubt if any parts are available from even Japan now. Anyway, if there is anything I can help, please feel free to email me. lio This post has been edited by lio: Feb 9 2010, 05:46 AM |
