Ok, some of you aren't old enough to remember, but we were talking a few years ago about maing a virtual hovercraft using vibrating tooth brush heads and how we could possibly control the direction using fans, or reversing direction on one of the heads etc.....

Then some u-tube vid pops up where some guy made a little hovercraft from a vibrating toothbrush head... didn't have any controls, it just jittered around.

I was in Radio Shack last week and I saw a little tiny 1:82 scale looking nascar racer. You could buy individual cars or you could get the track set with a few cars in it... they were cheap as hell, cant remember the price. I looked closer to see how the little cars cruise the track, and the shell of the car just sits on a vibrating brush and it scoots uncontrolled around the track. Looks like a fun little toy and brings me back to wondering... could you control one enough to steer it around an oval and navigate your way around other cars? That would be really cool. You don't need a lot of steering for something like that... just enough to shift lanes basically.
