A lot of people know how the forum is slowing in activity and posts. I had a revelation about two seconds ago, looking at the birthday list for today. I mean, not only is member posting at an all time low (I'll admit to being a part in this), and rc interest is lacking, but our forum is just plain dying.

Think about it. All the members that used to frequent here everyday are now reduced to showing up every two months. And new members? The last new person that joined was in may. Heck, even our admin hasn't posted in over a year. Not that I personally blame anyone specifically.

I mean, I don't mess around with rc's as much anymore, I'll be the first one to admit it. But I stuck around because I liked the community and the open forum was always bustling with topics, no matter what rc model had been killed off or ceased production. I read nearly every section, and learned stuff, what to buy, what was expensive, what was cool or fast or cheap.

And then, rc's kinda got pushed out for other things one by one in each of our lives, and slowly each section fell apart. At first I thought, "oh, it's just not the rc season" or "people are just busy" and now it's clearly something worse.

It's a nice thought that the mods are putting together contests to keep people active and not just posting in the "guess the car" thread. But I really don't think it will work all that well. It's just the fact that no one joins and no one posts and nothing is keeping the forum together.

I mean, I guess this topic does nothing for the forum, but I felt the need to post something, something to express how depressing it is to realize that all the friends I made here are falling apart...

WOW I thought it would be dead but to my happy surprise it was still up.....the forums that is.

Me like many others have been busy with other things and the economy has taken a heavy hit on us and I havnt even run an RC in over a year.....wait thats not right I did buy a 1/64 scale fully suspended RC from meijers for $19.99.

Everything has slowed down but I hope to get back into my RC's starting now and thru the winter.I doubt I'll be spending much on RC's since it looks as if I to will lose my job in the near future, I'll be doing more of a dusting off the old junk I have and giving it a good cleaning and running what I can for kicks.

I know I was never a big poster on the forums but I did like to come on here and see all the cool projects people had going.

I did give a ZipZap bigfoot and carolina crusher to my wifes nephew just for the heck of it and because I still have about a dozen of them .
I handed him one of both and told him to pick one then after a few minutes I said ahhh.... you might as well take them both .
I cant believe I found them after the move...lucky for him.
