Can propulses use oil from other RC shocks, or do I have to order it through the company? I dont want to buy a whole new shock set, just need to replace the oil

I'm 99.9% positive all oil filled shocks can use the same kind of silicon shock oil, but I'll leave it to barat to write an essay for you. wink.gif

But if there's nothing that says it'll damage it, head to your LHS and grab some shock oil with the right weight.

yup, like RCNut said, silicon shock oil. The different weight oils provide different dampening qualitys

yeah, the only thing is clean out the old fluid well and you should be good.

honlestly... you can use any rc shock oil. i wondered this too when i got my first hobby rc with fluid filled shocks.

I have the upgrade shocks, with the oil that came in it. My newphew was messing with one and unscrewed the top, spilled out the oil.

Also... Anyone know if other ECS are compatible with the propulse that might possibly be at a LHS?

It's going to depend on what controler you have, I think they came with both AM and FM, ao bring it with you and they'll be able to match one up.
