WOOOO! I just got back about an hour ago (yup, 2 AM over here, lol) from the 2007 Monster Jam at Lebanon Valley Speedway, West Lebanon, NY, and man was the 2-hour trip worth it. I've always loved monster trucks, and when I heard Maximum Destruction and Grave Digger would be showing "locally" for the first time by me, I went crazy. Moreover, T-Maxx was also there.

T-Maxx and Carl VanHorn were just awesome. At first, everyone thought their race was over right when it started; Carl lined up the truck in front of a pile of cars and floored it, but flipped over. But they brought out the Caterpillar and yanked the thing off of it's lid and kept going. Then, later on, it really was the end of the race for T-Maxx; Carl went nuts in the one-on-one races (forget who he was up against) and landed on one of the rear wheels at the wrong angle, sending him flipping through the air until he landed, once again, upside down. He escaped without a scratch, but not so for the truck. The chassis was so mangled and beat up it wouldn't even roll into the pits without a fight!

The best part of my day - err, night - was when I got Carl to autograph my Stampede's body XD. I don't have a Maxx, and my dad didn't bring the good Revo body with him, so I decided at the last second to bring in the Stampede. I literally, seriously risked my life to get that autograph (cutting in line without the guy behind me noticing, then him noticing, then security coming, then my dad getting kicked off the line, me pretending to almost cry, and security leaving me alone) so I'm happy. I'll see if I can get a pic tomorrow- er, today lol.

And don't even get me started about all the smokers and drunkards sitting in the stands and blowing smoke right into your face (no offense intended to those of us here that smoke). There were so many drunken teenagers there that we seriously waited like an hour for all of them to clear out of the parking lot. They were honking, swearing, getting into accidents, doing burnouts, all that stuff... Damn are they annoying...

Can't wait for next year!

Why is it 2006 instead of 2007?

now you need to buy a tmaxx to put that body on. lol.

does the TMAXX monster truck share the same chassis/ suspension design as a traxxas TMAXX?

edit: nvm, found that out, it does not. still very cool though
