Okay, in another foum, I heard some people say they use this putty:

http://www.hobbico.com/accys/hcar3400.html

to make body kits out of. Anyone else use this? Does it harden quickly? How strong is it?

I'm working on my skyline project, and need putty to do what i want to do. Only thing is I need something that molds like clay, but sands like putty. It also needs to have some decent strength (I don't want it to chip whenever i drive it). Any suggestions?

I can't say as I've ever run into 'user posted image' brand putty before. How about a link?

I'm partial to quick-setting epoxy putty, such as the "Maximum Steel" brand available at Auto Zone. Rough up the surface, attach and form the putty wait 10 mins and its ready for tooling. It does have bits of steel in it though, so it would have to be primered over before painting, else it would affect the surface texture of the paint.
